About IDEAS¶
The Inscopix Data Exploration, Analysis, and Sharing (IDEAS) platform is a comprehensive cloud-based solution for organizing and analyzing miniscope, 2-photon, and behavior data:
- Organize, visualize, annotate, and store your data on a cloud-platform
- Batch process and analyze data using workflows such as end-to-end CNMFe (including steps from preprocessing all the way to cell identification)
- Quickly gain insights from your data using a variety of analytical tools (e.g., use peri-event analysis to quantify signal changes around a specified time window).
New Features¶
- Share projects with IDEAS users outside your organization.
- Manage your projects more effectively with new filtering, sorting, and pinning features.
- Copy (clone) projects within and across your organization.
- Manage your IDEAS organization as an admin user:
- Add and remove users
- New users who have been invited to join an organization can self-register an IDEAS account
- Access all projects within your organization
- Edit your organization name
- Reference file and recording metadata when populating parameters in analysis tables.
-
New analysis tools
- DeepLabCut Pose Estimation tool: enables uploading and running any pre-trained DeepLabCut model
-
Added features/support for analysis tools:
- Support for adding behavior videos to NWB files and exporting to DANDI
- Optimized method for converting large miniscope movies to NWB format
- nVision Animal Tracking Model: added ability to define the tracking area and occupancy zones, support for third-party behavior movies, and movie series processing
